Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

The Commercial Pilot Licence is the final step in starting your aviation career. This licence will open a whole new world of flying opportunities as a professional aviator.

Prior to starting your Commercial Pilot Licence course you may already hold a  Private Pilot Licence or you may commence training with no experience. The Integrated Commercial Pilot Licence course is designed for both full and part-time students wishing to start their career in aviation. The course consists of several stages each to be completed prior to advancing to the next and is scheduled to include 150hours of flight time all of which is supervised. If you already have your PPL then you will need a total of 200hours of flight time with more solo time required.

Whichever way you go about getting your CPL you will be taught not only advanced flight techniques but also the considerations, parameters and requirements placed on the professional Pilot. At The Aeroplane Company we train our commercial students to be immediately employable (We are proud of our record in placing students into the workforce). Now you are not just flying an aeroplane but you are probably flying an aeroplane as a business tool to a schedule, possibly under arduous conditions.

While this path will test your application to the task, the rewards of a career in professional aviation will far outweigh the challenges.
